Shanthi has been in hibernation for a while, though not due to the fault of the Editors. This website depends on third party sources for news and features, and of late, most of the news related to Sri Lanka has been negative -- stories implying that the absence of war is a curse, rather than a boon. Stories about how the peace, however fragile it is, has helped people come together have been ignored. In reality, thus, this proves the necessity for sites like Shanthi.
